Happy Birthday Barry!

In the midst of Sara being born, Barry's bday was sort of taken over this year.
He's not very fond of sharing his birthday, but I think he'll over look it for Sara.
We did manage to have a huge chocolate cake and sing to him though.

Sara Jane Hansen

Introducing Sara Jane Hansen
She was finally born Wednesday, March 14th at 5:26 pm
6 lbs 14 oz, 20 inches
We are soooo glad she is here and now that I'm 10 days post birth,
I'm sooo glad to not be pregnant!

Ryan and Jena adore her and can't stop kissing and hugging her, it is amazing how she was so instantly part of the family. Ryan rubs her head like a dog, it is such a little boys way of showing affection, I love it. Jena sings her songs which is also adorable.
They say you can never spoil a baby, but she really never gets put down, If I don't stop that I may have a mama's girl on my hands really quick.

This is about 24 hours oldHer first bath, you can tell how much she likes it! Ry, Sara and Jena In her premie onesie, the only one that really fits her.This is just so her, she refuses to put her hands down and she is really strong too. She doesn't love the binki, but she puts her fingers inside it and sucks them both at once, it's pretty funny. You can tell how big her clothes are here. She is so tiny!

Random Thoughts for the day

I can't seem to every pick up the phone and call so Karen your baby blanket you sent is gorgeous! Thank You a Million times! You are one talented women!

A 9 month pregnant women should not be left alone with her other children...translation, I am a raving lunitic right now, anyone know how to get a hold of some pitocin? I no longer have ankles or knees, just stumps!

We still don't have a name for this baby!!! Help!

And for those who don't know, we have moved back in with my parents for a while, we are sad I know! Good thing my parents are so good to us and patient! We can not decide where we should live/buy a house so for now that is where we are. Waiting for this baby to arrive....and waiting.....and waiting.....

Jena's Hair

So by now, I think most people have seen Jena's new haircut, but for those of you who didn't see the haircut she gave herself that led to the new do, here are the pictures. It's kind of the little boy from the 80's Mullet look!
And of course we must have the after photos. It actually pretty cute, but it took me 2 days to start recognizing my own child again. I thought having it all cut off would be punishment enough for her, I was apparently wrong. (Big supprise) It seams that was just what she wanted, she thought the trip to the salon was great, she wanted her nails done and all the cute hair stuff and she thought the tanning beds would be great fun to try out! She is such a girl!!!
