Strikes and Ranting

You should see my shower, actually no you shouldn't. I think it is trying to tell me something. All the grout is turning black and the corners are growing this pinkish slimy stuff. Hmmm...what to do about it? I would rather do a whole day of laundry than clean my shower. That's saying a lot too if you know how much I hate laundry. And don't tell me to use that daily shower spray stuff, it doesn't work, I use it. I'm on Shower cleaning strike! Make that bathroom cleaning strike. The only person who could beat me in a dirty bathroom contest is Natalie. Sorry Nat, but you possible have the dirtiest bathroom I've ever seen. Make that had, she did clean it.

Speaking of strikes, I'm on a leg shaving strike. It's really kind of gross, I tell myself it's keeping me warmer through the winter. Not really sure why I don't want to shave, it's not like I have any excuses like I'm pregnant and cannot physically reach them. Maybe I'm afraid I will slip and fall on that pink stuff in my shower.

I think I'm over the writer's strike, I don't even look forward to TV anymore and I previously mentioned Oprah is on the bad list with me, so that leaves the news and I usually end up really annoyed at the world after I watch the news so I'm choosing to live in ignorance to the world right now.

Sorry I didn't have any cutesy Valentine posts yesterday. Barry and I tend to boy cot Valentines Day. We not all that romantic if you've never noticed. I agree with Melanie that Valentines is just a ploy to get us to spend money between Christmas and Easter. Ryan wanted to know where my Valentine to him was, so I gave him a big hug and kiss. He wasn't very happy with that. I ended up getting them some Hershey Kisses to add to the ridiculous amount of candy they already brought home from school that day. Sugar High here we come! So what did we do for Valentines? I ordered pizza (read: Yeah, no cooking for Kelli tonight!) and Barry told me he thought about getting me some flowers but thought I would like money in the bank instead. (He was right) Very Romantic wouldn't you agree!

This post is getting ridiculously long so I'll end it with a picture of how the cute quilt turned out.

And some pictures of Sara, This is my view of her at any given time. Such a Mama's girl. My favorite is the dirty look she's giving me because I am not picking her up. And of course as predicted, trying to get into the dishwasher.

That quilt is so adorable. Can you please, please, please promise me that if I ever get married you will make me a quilt. I am not even holding out for a child. I want one when I get married. Who knew you would turn out to be a fabric store junkie. He He

Sara is such a cutie. Again I say it - we miss your family. That quilt is wonderful! I love the colors - you and your Mom did an awesome job. It amazes me how you find time to do that kind of stuff as well as read books like Sense and Sensibility. You rock!
