I love my Dad

My dad has to be the handiest person to have around. Sunday the power went out about 10:30 am. I had the kids showered but none of the adults had showered yet. I just resigned myself to the fact that I would have air dried, bad hair for the day.

As I'm getting out of the shower I hear my dad yelling, I realize it is coming from the laundry shoot to the basement, I open it up and he is handing me an extention cord. He had gone out and hooked up the Generator and run extention cords all around the house and up through the basement just so my mom and I could dry and curl our hair! Not only is he handy to have around, he's thinking of us! He's just always in action, doing something, busy, busy, busy, one of the hardest workers around. I admire him so much! It made my day!

Something else I love about him: Watching him play hide and seek with the kids. No one is having as much fun as he is when this game is played. You can see him running through the house and hear him almost giggling as he goes. It is truly an entertaining experience. Anytime he is playing with the grandkids he is so fun with them.
