A few new projects

This is my latest quilt.
Actually I can't really take much credit for it, my mom made the quilt top and I quilted it.
It is a late wedding gift for Matt and Stacie. It is a good snuggle on the couch size of 64x80. Hopefully they get some good use for it in Alaska this summer.
I'm so jealous, I so want to move to Alaska for the summer! {sigh} Remember being newly weds and doing whatever you want? yeah, I hardly do, 10 years and 4 kids ago. it's all a big blur. {sigh}

I love the colors. We have enough left over fabric that I'm going to try and do a wall hanging for my house, minus the pinks.

I have never quilted over Ric Rac before and I have to say I'm not a big fan.  It was a huge pain in the butt!  Looks super cute though and that's all that matters right?

Here is the back which of course is tiny polka dots, with me it's either stars or polka dots, although you can't really see them.  And have I mentioned how much I L.O.V.E my new machine? I {heart} Bernina!

Today I'm working on a a few Simple Star Designs Projects; hand painted signs for my friends Melanie & Mike and their new business The Frosted Gardner.
 They refinish furniture and it is beautiful! Go check it out at The Frosted Gardner and I will share the signs with you when I finish them.
